BOSTON (AP) — Liberty Mutual, a U.S. Olympic Committee sponsor, has announced the athletes it will be supporting for the 2014 Sochi Olympics and Paralympics.

Two-time Olympic gold medalist Seth Wescott (snowboardcross) and former world champion Katie Uhlaender (skeleton) are on the list, as are Max Aaron (figure skating), J.R. Celski (short track speedskating), Jazmine Fenlator (bobsled), Jen Hudak (freestyle skiing), Jessica Jerome (ski jumping), and Jocelyne and Monique Lamoureux (twin sisters on the U.S. ice hockey team).

Liberty Mutual says the athletes were chosen in part because each has endured and overcome some sort of struggle.

Paralympic athletes Rico Roman and Andy Soule are also part of the group. Former Olympians Picabo Street and Chris Klug are the group’s ambassadors.

Liberty Mutual’s sponsorship of the USOC continues through 2016.
