EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) — Center Dan Gadzuric has signed with the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Lakers announced the deal with the veteran big man from UCLA on Friday.
Los Angeles opens training camp Saturday with 19 players on its roster.
Gadzuric is a 10-year NBA veteran who spent last season playing in Venezuela. He has played for Milwaukee, Golden State, New Jersey, Toronto and New York since entering the NBA in 2002, averaging 4.7 points, 4.4 rebounds and 0.9 blocks.
The Lakers are in search of size and depth on their bench behind Pau Gasol and Chris Kaman.
