The Tigers showed a strong offense in the first half, putting up 31 points to put away the Lions.

Justin Smalley rushed for 234 yards and four touchdowns.

“We adjusted well to the Mountainview defense,” Battle Ground coach Larry Peck said. “We went back to our running game and used the clock against them.”

Then, when the opportunity presented itself, the Tigers went to the air. Colston Vukanovich threw two touchdown passes.

The Tigers ended their non-league schedule with two wins in a row. Battle Ground faces Evergreen next week in the 4A GSHL opener.
