What a Party scores easy win in Monmouth feature

OCEANPORT, N.J. (AP) — What a Party went wire-to-wire to win the $38,000 allowance feature at Monmouth Park on Sunday, beating Zulbaby by 312 lengths.

Trained by Eddie Plesa Jr. and ridden by Chris DeCarlo, What a Party ran the five furlongs over a firm turf course in 55 1-5 seconds and returned $18, $10.40 and $4.60. It was the second win in eight career starts for the 4-year-old filly.

Zulbaby paid $9.40 and $4.60, while Krusin Kelly was a length back in third and paid $2.60.
