EVERETT — The death toll from the Oso mudslide remains at 30, but the Snohomish County medical examiner’s office says it has positively identified one more of the victims — the 28th.
The office said Friday it’s withholding the name until the family is notified. Two other victims remain unidentified.
The number of missing has varied, but the Snohomish County sheriff’s office said Friday it is trying to locate 15 people.
Meanwhile, the recovery effort continues at Oso, where a steep hillside gave way March 22 and roared across the North Fork of the Stillaguamish River burying the community.
