For the fifth consecutive year, Evergreen Public Schools has been awarded an Energy Star Partner of the Year Award by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The Sustained Excellence Award will be presented April 29 at a ceremony in Washington, D.C.

It is the EPA’s highest Energy Star award. The district has been an Energy Star partner since 2009.

“We are committed to our partnership with Energy Star, and dedicated to increasing energy efficiency in our schools, which helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions and protect the environment,” said Dave Cone, the district’s resource conservation manager.
