Letter: Some predators’ nature is to hunt

In her April 3 letter, Laura Stuart suggested that we “Respect natural order” regarding Idaho’s bill allowing killing of wolves.

I spoke with a retired game warden some years ago about the reintroduction of wolves. His response was “they kill for fun” and that is why our ancestors rid themselves of the species. I am not sure who is misunderstood regarding the wolves, but as the packs grow larger, I suppose a child could be at risk (i.e. those defenseless pit bulls).
