An early Friday morning weapons disturbance reported in the Northeast Hazel Dell area turned out to involve a BB gun.

A man pulled the BB gun from his waistband and pointed it at two people he was arguing with. It appeared to be a real gun and frightened them, according to Clark County Sheriff's Sgt. Shane Gardner.

The man fled with the gun and hid it at another person's apartment, Gardner said. No one was injured. The 22-year-old suspect is still on the loose.
