For several years now, a cleaning lady from rural Clark County has been the driving force behind a huge charitable exchange of stuff.

“Sharing Is Caring” was the brainchild of Donna Aho back in 2009. The event quickly grew to take over the basement of the Hockinson Apostolic Lutheran Church on a semiannual basis, with folks welcome to donate and to take away gently used clothing and household items, all for free.

Now, Aho is gearing up for the next Sharing is Caring event.

o Donations are welcome from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22.

o The takeaway days are from 5-9 p.m. Thursday, April 24, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 25.

o The site is the church basement at 16108 N.E. 192nd Avenue.
