Authorities are searching for a woman who robbed a Hazel Dell credit union Thursday morning.

The robbery, reported just before 10:30 a.m., occurred at People’s Federal Community Credit Union, 7403 N.E. Hazel Dell Ave., Clark County Sheriff’s Sgt. Duncan Hoss said. The woman presented a teller with a note that said she had a gun and wanted money, Hoss said.

The teller gave the woman an undisclosed amount of money, and then the woman fled the scene. Police searched the area but could not locate her.

The woman is described as a white female in her 30s who is about 5 foot 6 with a “skinny build,” Hoss said. At the time of the robbery, she was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, with the hood drawn tight around her face, along with gray sweat pants and sunglasses.
