Health worker report

The Health Systems Quality Assurance Division of the state Department of Health recently took disciplinary actions or has withdrawn charges against these Clark County health care providers.

In February, the Chemical Dependency Professional Program ended probation for chemical dependency professional trainee Christina Ann Gjesvold, also known as Christina Ann Stroup.

In February, the Nursing Commission entered an agreement with registered nurse Brenda Lee Hanson that reinstates her license and requires her to participate in a substance abuse monitoring program.

In February, the Nursing Assistant Program conditionally granted a certified nursing assistant credential to Michelle Shree Gray and placed her credential on probation for at least five years.

In March, the Nursing Commission charged registered nurse Melissa R. Cummings with unprofessional conduct. Cummings allegedly didn’t comply with a stipulation requiring her to enroll in a substance abuse monitoring program.
