Clark College Athletic Report, April 22

BASEBALL

Record: 20-10 overall, 10-6 NWAACC South Region. Ranked 7th in April 10 coaches poll.

Last week: Split four-game series with Lane, winning twice at Eugene, Ore.

Next games: Clark is scheduled to play Clackamas in four home games. Both Friday and Saturday’s doubleheaders are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

SOFTBALL

Record: 6-15 overall, 0-6 NWAACC South Region.

Last week: Clark’s games at Southwestern Oregon in Coos Bay, Ore., were postponed.

Next games: Clark is scheduled to host Clackamas in a doubleheader at noon Saturday.

TRACK AND FIELD

Last week: At the Pacific Cougar Open at Oregon City, Kimi Knight won the 400 hurdles (1:07.29), Quwontae Wallace won the long jump (21-11 1/2 ) and was on the winning men’s 400 relay team (44.20), and was second in the 400 and third in the 100. (Click here for complete results)

Next: The NWAACC multi-event meet is scheduled for April 28-29 at Gresham, Ore.
