Job-finding events set for May in Vancouver

Workshop is May 9, job fair is May 14

U.S. Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Camas, will host a job fair and workshop in May.

The job-hunting workshop will be 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. May 9 at the Vancouver Community Library, in the Columbia Room, at 901 C St. The workshop will focus on resume and job-hunting tips. There will be an opportunity for individual job counseling.

The job fair will be 1 to 5 p.m. May 14 at the Red Lion Hotel at the Quay, 100 Columbia St. Employers from different industries are scheduled to be at the job fair. Both events are free for the public. A list of participating employers will be available at http://jaimehb.house.gov soon.
