Letter: Liability links to ‘person’ status

I read the April 23 story “GM fights for bankruptcy protection over liability” for its past “sins” with one thought in mind: The Supreme Court has decided that corporations are people, hence General Motors is now a person and “persons” pay for their past sins, especially when there is a death(s) involved.
