SPOKANE — The Spokane County Medical Examiner has identified a woman whose body was found in a car trunk last week.
The victim has been identified as 51-year-old Latanya Clara Chapin. The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office says Juan E. Sifuentez and Chapin’s daughter, Rachael Colby, were arrested Friday in connection with the homicide.The Spokesman-Review reports Chapin died as a result of head and neck injuries.
She had been reported missing in early March.
Sifuentez faces a charge of second-degree murder, while Colby faces a rendering criminal assistance charge.
