Vancouver police are searching for a 16-year-old girl who went missing more than a month ago near the Clark County juvenile court center.

Kourtney Cox was last seen on March 14 at the Robert L. Harris Juvenile Justice Center, 500 W. 11th St., Vancouver. In addition to working with police, Cox’s family and friends also have commissioned a Seattle-area private investigator and the Center for Search & Investigations for Missing Children in hopes of bringing her home.

Cox is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds, with brown and blond hair and brown eyes. She has pierced ears, a scar on the bridge of her nose and a small scar from a piercing on the right side of her lower lip.

Authorities urge anyone with information about Cox’s whereabouts to contact Vancouver Police Officer Richard Rich, 360-487-7500; private investigator Alexis Montgomery, 253-804-0263; or the Center for Search & Investigations, 512-644-9856.
