Letter: Time shows whose time is wasted

The M&M boys (Clark County Commissioners David Madore and Tom Mielke) have lots of time to spend trying to sell a bridge for east Clark County which has no buy-in from any government agency and no funding. It also solves none of the problems we have with an aging Interstate 5 bridge, which is a necessary part of the I-5 system keeping commerce moving in our state.

But hey, why not? M&M have accomplished all the other important stuff: hiring cronies for jobs they aren’t qualified for; making the county liable for payouts because they don’t follow policies and procedures; ignoring voters who have pleaded with them to control the endless July 4 noise, etc. Yup, they have time on their hands.

Oh, wait. Weren’t they holding some things up (such as fireworks regulations) because they needed more time to do research? And, help me out here — didn’t they have an advisory vote on that? Or was that a waste of time — yours and mine?
