Insitu selects Ryan Hartman as new CEO

Boeing subsidiary Insitu, a Bingen-based drone maker, has named Ryan Hartman president and CEO, effective immediately. Hartman succeeds CEO Steve Morrow, who is retiring. He most recently was a senior vice president. Insitu is the maker of the ScanEagle and Integrator unmanned aircraft.

The Boeing subsidiary has more than 800 employees, based primarily around Bingen and elsewhere in the Columbia Gorge but also in Clark County. In his previous position, Hartman led the company’s Integrator, ScanEagle, Advanced Programs and Business Development program offices.

He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy and a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
