A Vancouver woman was hospitalized after a three-vehicle collision Friday afternoon on state Highway 500.

Casandra Fleming, 37, was stopped for traffic in the eastbound lanes of the highway at Fourth Plain Boulevard when her Nissan was rear-ended by a Jeep Cherokee, according to the Washington State Patrol. The Nissan was then pushed into the back of a Mazda that was also stopped for traffic, the State Patrol said.

The crash was reported at 2:50 p.m.

Fleming was treated at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center and later discharged from the hospital. Kristina Bouthillette, 29, of Vancouver, the driver of the Mazda, was injured but not taken to a hospital. The driver of the Jeep, 17-year-old Halie Ward, of Washougal, was also injured but not hospitalized.

The State Patrol cited Ward for driving too fast.
