Two people were injured in a head-on collision Monday morning on state Highway 14, a few miles east of Washougal.

Around 6:30 a.m., Christina Sill, 31, of Camas was driving a Nissan Sentra west on the highway near Milepost 22 when she crossed the center line and struck an oncoming Toyota Corolla, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Sill and the driver of the Corolla, Tyler Douglass, 23, of Stevenson, were transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. Both cars were totaled and towed from the collision site.

Sill was later released from the hospital. Douglass was listed in satisfactory condition at the hospital Monday evening.

The crash is under investigation by the State Patrol, which has not issued any charges so far.
