The following are local land-use proposals. The county or city may rate them in three categories: nonsignificant, no environmental impact study needed; nonsignificant, provided proponents meet certain conditions; and significant, requiring an environmental impact study.

City of Vancouver

EAST OF FIRCREST: Educational Service District 112 seeks approval to build a 65,000-square-foot, two-story office building and a 17,500-square-foot, one-story warehouse with associated parking. The site is on the south side of Southeast First Street and on both sides of Southeast Olympia Drive. Environmental impact rating: nonsignificant. Comment deadline: Monday. EAST OF SOUTHCLIFF: American Towers seeks approval to construct an 80-foot-high monopole for wireless antennas with associated ground equipment. The application includes a variance request to exceed the maximum height limit for the CC zone of 50 feet. The site is adjacent to and on the east side of MacArthur Boulevard, and 1,200 feet south of East Mill Plain Boulevard. Environmental impact rating: nonsignificant. Comment deadline: Dec. 26.
