A Ridgefield man was injured after his car rolled early Sunday morning on state Highway 500 in Vancouver.

Anthony Valle Ramirez, 21, was driving his Silver 2003 Nissan 350Z east on the highway near Interstate 205 when he lost control of the car shortly after 2 a.m. The Nissan rolled and came to rest on its top, according to a Washington State Patrol press memo. Valle Ramirez was injured and transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. His condition was not available Sunday.

His passenger, Erica S. Cerdon, 26, of Vancouver, was not injured in the crash.

The rollover was caused by speeding, and Valle Ramirez faces charges of driving while intoxicated and reckless endangerment, according to state patrol.
