Taking care of the ball and strong rebounding helped the Storm beat visiting Tumwater.
Skyview committed only five turnovers and limited the Thunderbirds to six offensive rebounds despite the visitors starting one 6-foot-10 player and two others listed at 6-5.
Marcus Lord scored 18 points to lead the Storm (2-1). Terran Scruggs had 11 points and three assists.
Tumwater missed all seven of its 3-point attempts.
