A high wind warning in effect for the metro area has let to the cancellation of tonight’s Christmas Ships. In addition, the Oregon Zoo is closing its ZooLights for tonight.
The festively illuminated small boats are a holiday tradition as they ply the Columbia and Willamette rivers on most evenings in December.
The festivities will resume their schedule on Friday night, assuming the weather has improved.
