Letter: Engage in others to experience life

The Columbian
Published: December 12, 2014, 4:00pm

Folks, is it just me or are a lot of our generation boomers, Generation X, millennials, annuals, perennials, or whatever abusing the electronic world? Do these youngsters or all-inclusive age groups really think they are so important that they can’t take the time to engage us, person to person, in meaningful conversation? Are they ever looking and listening to live entertainment, TV, and sports without the distraction of Me-phones, Me-pads, Me-pods, and selfies?

Listen up youngsters and all age groups, I think your contributions are important, so give the rest of us some input besides your robotic OCD activity. Who knows, maybe you will learn something about real live conversation and life in general.
