Letter: Reasons to worry about nation

Here are reasons why “I can’t breathe.” I can’t breathe when I hear the man who is supposed to be our president continue to lie, distort facts and divide us with nearly every phrase that he utters.

I can’t breathe when I see the Majority Leader destroy the effectiveness of the U.S. Senate by turning it into a do-nothing farce for the past six years.

I can’t breathe when I see the Supreme Court cave in to political interests and allow the worst piece of legislation in our history (Obamacare) to continue hurting the majority of the American people.

I can’t breathe when I see thugs with criminal records challenge and disobey police and then protest when they get arrested.

I can’t breathe when I see an arrogant liberal senator release a partisan report that empathizes with terrorists and throws CIA patriots under the bus.

I can’t breathe when a smug, condescending academic calls us stupid while taking $6 million in taxpayer dollars for his dubious “advice.”

I can’t breathe when our governor has the nerve to ask for $1 billion in taxes instead of dealing with the bloated state government we have in Olympia.

And finally, I can’t breathe when I watch the liberal media continue to “serve and protect” the far-left politicians and their failed agenda instead of doing their journalistic jobs.
