Work will close the offramp connecting Interstate 205 and Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard tonight, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

During the closure from 11:59 p.m. tonight until 4 a.m. Wednesday, workers will repave a portion of the shoulder, according to WSDOT. The paving will allow traffic to keep moving during the construction of a new I-205 interchange at Northeast 18th Street. The $40.6 million project broke ground earlier this year.

Tonight’s work depends on weather and could be rescheduled, according to WSDOT.
