Daybreak Youth Services seeks help with special events and office tasks.

Empower Up is looking for volunteers to keep the retail store and donation center clean, and a volunteer coordinator assistant to work with volunteers’ schedules, do data entry, contact prospective volunteers regarding orientation and scheduling, and to deliver orientations as needed.

Gift for Our Community seeks volunteers to serve customers, and to receive, sort and price clothing donations at the b.divine clothing boutique in Hazel Dell.

North County Community Food Bank is looking for volunteers to stock, sort and inspect food donations, unload deliveries, prepare food boxes, clean, and assist clients at the food bank in Battle Ground.

The Clark County commissioners seek to fill three positions on the Clean Water Commission. The three-year terms begin in March and end in February 2018.

The advisory group makes recommendations to the county council about services, policies and financing to meet federal and state requirements for water quality. Analytical skills are desirable, along with experience and interest in environmental issues.

The group meets six times annually at the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver.

The Clark County commissioners seek to fill a position representing the county’s unincorporated area on the Clark County Arts Commission, for a four-year term beginning immediately.

The 11-member commission advises local cities and the county on issues including art in public places, and works to celebrate local talent and skills. Members meet at 5:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month at the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver.

The Clark County commissioners seek to fill an unexpired term on the volunteer Cemetery District 5 Board of Commissioners, representing the Woodland area. The term ends Dec. 31, 2015.

Commissioners have authority to conduct business as needed to maintain and operate cemeteries, purchase property and enter into contracts.
