KELSO — A 33-year-old Portland woman was sentenced Wednesday to nine years in prison for a drunken, wrong-way crash in Longview that killed a man and injured seven other people.
Nicole DiFuria McCaslin had pleaded guilty last week to charges of vehicular homicide, driving under the influence and vehicular assault.
The Daily News reports police recorded McCaslin’s blood-alcohol level at 0.17 percent — more than double the state’s legal limit of 0.08 percent.
The crash last February killed Brett Dawdy. His wife and daughter were among the injured.
