Cops seeking fairgrounds-area burglars

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is seeking two burglars who struck a home near the Clark County fairgrounds on Wednesday.

Surveillance images provided by the homeowner show two white men who apparently committed the crime.

According to a news release, while the homeowners were away the burglars forced entry through a back door of the home. Once inside, they ransacked it, and stole jewelry, collectible coins and a black valise.

They carried a bottle of automotive coolant as they were caught on camera, but deputies aren’t sure why. They think it might have been a ruse in case someone would have been at home.

Anyone with information that may lead to the apprehension of the two suspects is asked to call Deputy Eric Swenson at 360 397-2211, ext. 5464.
