Boys basketball: Columbia River 56, Marysville-Pilchuck 51

Chad Pedigo scored 14 points, and Joey Bean and Jacob Hjort had 11 points each as Columbia River won the fourth-place game at the Curtis Holiday Tournament south of Tacoma.

Hjort scored eight of his 11 points in the fourth quarter. River’s defense clamped down late, holding the Tomahawks to six points in the final quarter.

Pedigo received all-tournament honors, having scored 41 points over three games.
