North Garrison Heights — Kids on Vancouver’s Junior Joy Team and the Hough Elementary Leadership Team thanked hospital workers for their work Saturday to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center’s Emergency Department. The children toured the facility, and handed out notes of appreciation and candy, which they call Happy Packets, to emergency room workers. The Joy Team is a nonprofit group that aims to spread “joy, optimism and inspiration.” Learn more at www.thejoyteam.org.
