Boys basketball: Mark Morris 70, Fort Vancouver 55

The Monarchs got to the Trappers early and often, making seven 3-pointers in the first half to win the non-league contest.

Grant Gibb scored 29 points to lead Mark Morris.

Malachi King led Fort Vancouver with 16 points. Will Doty added 14.

The Trappers, who trailed by 20 at the half, cut the deficit to 11 points in the third quarter but that was as close as they got to the Monarchs.
