Fairgrounds — Twenty-nine animals found new homes thanks to the annual Holiday Gift Fair and its “Take Me Home for the Holidays” program Nov. 21-23 at the Clark County Fairgrounds.
Three local animal rescue and adoption agencies took part, including Tender Care Animal Rescue, which placed 20 animals; the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, which placed four; and Second Chance Companions, which placed five. “We have some very happy families,” said Tina Stewart, executive director of Tender Care.
