Letter: Message received; move on

I could not care less one way or the other about the gay community. What I do care about is this continual flaunting of their lifestyle. For some reason, the media think this is great news. Recently, a gay couple were married on a float during the Rose Bowl parade, and now my wife has told me (I do not watch these plastic programs) that 33 gay couples were married during the Grammys program, with images of emotional, elated, sobbing people. Some proclaimed later that the gay event was the best moment of the show.

OK, let me get to the point. Quit throwing the gay lifestyle in everyone’s face. We straight people get it, so get over yourselves and move on.
