Countryside Woods — More than a dozen people agreed to have their heads shaved Jan. 25 as a sign of solidarity, and remembrance, of those who are struggling with and who died from cancer. The St. Baldrick's Foundation fundraiser at Fishers Grange in Vancouver raised more than $5,000 in the mission to "conquer childhood cancers." Childhood cancer survivors were also at the event and were celebrated by attendees for their courage.
