Hazel Dell — The Master Gardener Foundation of Clark County recently approved more than $32,800 in grants for horticulture, community garden and youth programs in the county.

More than a dozen local programs will benefit from the annual disbursements, including Second Step Housing, the Ridgefield Living Center Garden and Plant a Row for the Hungry.

The Master Gardener Foundation raises most of its money for grants from its annual plant sale on Mother’s Day weekend. This year’s sale is set for May 10-11 at the Heritage Farm, 1919 N.E. 78th St.
