Hough — The teens enrolled in Clark County Skills Center’s Auto Technology program were recently given a gift of $2,000 from organizers of uptown Vancouver’s annual Cruisin’ the Gut summer car show.
Phil Medina, Cruisin’ the Gut owner and member of the Kamikaze Car Club, chose the auto program for the donation because he considers its students the “future of hot rodding,” according to a press release.
This year’s Cruisin’ the Gut is set for July 19. There are fifteen Skills Center programs available for high school juniors and seniors in the county.
