Nautilus Inc. names new chief financial officer

Nautilus Inc., the Vancouver-based manufacturer of fitness equipment, said today it appointed Sidharth Nayar, 53, to be the company’s chief financial officer.

Nayar joined Nautilus on Feb. 10 as its senior vice president of finance, Nautilus said in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Previously, Nayar served as CFO for Congoleum Corporation, a manufacturer of residential and commercial flooring products.

Nayar has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the London School of Economics and an MBA in finance from Rutgers University.

At Nautilus, Nayar’s initial base salary is $260,000 annually. He’ll be eligible for bonus pay, including a bonus equal to 50 percent of his base salary, based on achievement of corporate and individual performance goals.
