The International Longshore and Warehouse Union Local 4 and Women’s Auxiliary 11 are sponsoring a blood drive this week.
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, the Red Cross Mobile Blood Bus will be at the ILWU Local 4 Hiring Hall, 1205 Ingalls St. Nonmembers are welcome to attend.
Reservations are recommended, but drop-ins are allowed. Contact Megan Walker or Kristen Stockwell at auxiliary11@outlook.com to make a reservation.
Donors will have a chance to win raffle prizes, including a $100 gift card to Big Al’s.
The blood drive is in response to severe winter weather forcing the cancellation of hundreds of blood drives across the country.
