Girls basketball: Federal Way 56, Battle Ground 55

After a close first three quarters, Battle Ground had to fight back from 10 points down in the fourth but came up short as the Tigers’ final shot was blocked.

Jossilyn Blackman scored 16 points to go with nine rebounds for Battle Ground. Emily Griffith scored 14 points and had four assists and three steals, and Kylie Smith had 10 points and seven rebounds.
