Letter: Participate in your government

The Columbian
Published: January 5, 2014, 4:00pm

Somewhere down the line in government all across the board, through the back-stabbing, back-door deals, two-faced talk and favors, government and bureaucracy have decided that it is all about them.

They apparently have forgotten completely that it is about “us,” the people. Maybe the revolution should start here, with just a small issue.

Throw the bums out could be a shot heard around the nation. Throw the parties out; they haven’t represented the people, as far back as I can remember. They don’t hear us, and they don’t care. It’s just that simple.

If you agree, drop the Clark County commissioners a letter, and/or show up at their next meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Be heard.
