Vancouver Victory FC men’s soccer club recently unveiled its crest and team colors for the inaugural Evergreen Premier League season, which is scheduled to begin in May.

The club’s official colors are Columbia blue, white and carbon black. The logo features a shield shape with a Victory Ship. Just above and below the vessel are rows of five and seven stars, honoring the year 1857 when Vancouver was incorporated. Victory Ships were built in Vancouver to aid the American effort in World War II.

The Vancouver Victory FC crest was designed by Jeremy Koering, owner of Koer Creative of Vancouver. In a press release, the club said it is in the process of developing an official website and a design for its uniforms.

The Victory are one of eight clubs in the Evergreen Premier League, which describes itself as an elite men’s soccer league for college and post-college players. Last month, Victory FC owner Barrett Goddard named Clark College coach Biniam Afenegus as the club’s first head coach. His assistants are Filomon Afenegus and Sean Janson.
