The return of point guard Triann Thompson helped Evergreen to a well-rounded win.

Thompson, who has missed much of the season with a stress fracture, led Evergreen’s scorers with eight, though eight Plainsmen scored.

“We’re just a better team when she’s on the floor running things,” said Evergreen coach Jay Foreman. “That helped the balanced scoring.”

Shayla Bell’s eight points led Heritage.
