Drunk transient found in Seattle elementary school

A transient who was very intoxicated walked into a Seattle elementary school Tuesday and was found inside a boys’ restroom.

In a letter to parents, Salmon Bay School said students were held in classrooms until police and paramedics arrived.

The school district told KING the man entered through a door that is kept unlocked longer than other doors to accommodate students in wheelchairs.

The district says it’s reviewing security procedures.
