The Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge will temporarily close the River S Unit on Jan. 27 and 28 for geotechnical drilling along roadways.
The geotechnical drilling will help plan a number of future road and bridge improvements at the refuge.
During the closure, the refuge’s Carty Unit will remain open. For additional information, contact the refuge office at 360-887-4106.
