NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tennessee’s search for a new coach has taken a turn to an old foe with the Titans interviewing Jim Caldwell.

The Titans confirmed Wednesday that they had completed an interview with Caldwell, the former Indianapolis Colts coach and current Baltimore Ravens’ offensive coordinator.

The team plane picked Caldwell up in Baltimore on Wednesday morning and was scheduled to return to Baltimore late Wednesday afternoon.

Caldwell, 58, also has interviewed with the Washington Redskins and the Detroit Lions.

He spent a decade with Indianapolis first as quarterbacks coach in Indianapolis with Peyton Manning. He replaced Tony Dungy as coach in 2009, and they reached the Super Bowl his first season only to lose to New Orleans in February 2010. He finished 26-22 in his three seasons before being fired in January 2012.
