CELTIC CONCERTS to benefit Winter Hospitality Overflow, a ministry for the homeless, will begin today. The Winds and Strings Celtic Band of St. Andrew will play Irish pipes, flutes, whistles, guitars and hammered dulcimers at 3 and 7 p.m. Saturday at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 5607 N.E. Gher Road. A third concert will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1309 Franklin St. An offering will be taken at all of the concerts.

ST. LUKE’S — SAN LUCAS EPISCOPAL CHURCH will host its monthly taizé service at 6 p.m. Jan. 18 at 426 E. Fourth Plain Blvd., Vancouver. The service will include chants, poetry and silence. A community folk song circle will be at 7 p.m. Jan. 19 at the church.*360-696-0181.
