Indiana State beats Bradley 62-59

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) — Jake Odum scored 12 points Saturday and Justin Gant and Dawon Cummings added 11 each as Indiana State held off Bradley 62-59 to win its fourth Missouri Valley Conference game in a row.

The Sycamores (13-3, 4-0) outshot the Braves (6-11, 1-3) 39.1 percent to 34.9 percent.

Manny Arop led off with a 3-pointer, but Bradley stayed close and took the lead on a layup by Walt Lemon before Indiana went up on a layup by Gant and stayed ahead to lead 25-24 at halftime.

Bradley took a 37-36 second-half lead on a free throw by Lemon, but Indiana State tied it at 44 on a free throw by Odum, then pulled ahead 57-49 on a 7-0 run. Lemon made it a three-point game on a layup with 5 seconds to play but the Braves got no closer.

Lemon led Bradley with 22, and Tyshon Pickett grabbed 12 rebounds.
