BAD GASTEIN, Austria (AP) — Russian snowboarder Vic Wild won a World Cup parallel slalom for his first career victory Sunday, while Patrizia Kummer of Switzerland earned her second win in three days in the women’s competition.

Wild, who finished third in Carezza, Italy, in 2012 for his only previous World Cup podium, beat Zan Kosir of Slovenia in the final.

Simon Schoch of Switzerland beat another Slovenian, Rok Marguc, to take third.

Sylvain Dufour of France came fifth to retain his lead in the discipline standings.

Kummer, who also won Friday’s event here, defeated Julia Dujmovits in the final for her 10th career victory and extended her lead in the standings. Kummer has 2,400 points and is 550 ahead of Ester Ledecka of the Czech Republic.

Ledecka placed third ahead of Russia’s Natalia Soboleva.
